Children (4-12)

The Children’s Ministries of TheUPC include Sunday school with age appropriate teaching from nursery to senior high. We also offer classes for adults (with elective classes for young marrieds), college and caree, and a discipleship class for our new members.

Vacation Bible School is a summertime activity that usually takes place in July. Children enjoy crafts, singing, and fun while learning Bible stories and principles.   

Every Wednesday evening the children meet for Children’s Church. It is a time of fun-packed Bible teaching for ages 4-12 (not in seventh grade) using varied types of music, visuals, and hands-on learning styles.

 Junior Bible Quizzing is an exciting activity that requires commitment and self-discipline. Our juniors get together to study and memorize portions of Scripture. They practice quizzing strategies with each other and also compete with other churches in the Nortth Carolina District. We are very proud of their efforts.

 Every other year our K-sixth grade children perform a Christmas musical that is always enjoyed by relatives and friends. As they worship God, our children learn the skills of speaking and singing to audiences.
